Case study

David was referred to the service by his foster parent at the age of 15. He had been a cared child  for many years and was newly fostered. He had a traumatic past and his mother was known to suffer from mental illness. David had low self-esteem and this showed in poor eye contact and intense shyness, plus he was suspected to have learning difficulties.

David is now a confident young man and a positive role model for the young people at KORI , his positive and gentle attitude to life make him a favourite of many of the children and young people.

Our Holistic Model

KORI practices a holistic model. We believe that young people benefit from challenge, nurture and a diverse range of experiences.
